The Science of Coral is an editorial project developed during the Make Your Mark Bootcamp 2025, a creative programme organised by Inkygoodness. Created in collaboration with Aquila Magazine - an exciting publication for inquisitive kids - the brief invited illustrators to design a double-page spread for an article all about corals. Inspired by the Great Barrier Reef, this artwork dives into the richness of underwater life, blending colourful shapes, diverse species, and curious divers to highlight a world where humans and nature coexist respectfully. With a touch of fun and plenty of information, the composition captures the beauty, diversity, and wonder of coral ecosystems through a playful, story-driven lens.
